Our Laboratory
AFLATOXIN ANALYSIS LABORATORY
It is known that the quality of foods stored in unsuitable environmental conditions deteriorates throughout the period from production to consumption of agricultural products. Molds multiply in raw and unprocessed materials under suitable conditions (moisture and temperature suitable for mold growth), on the one hand, changing the quality and quantity of the product and causing it to deteriorate, and on the other hand, they create toxic substances that have negative effects on human health. Mycotoxins directly affect the liver in the human body, accumulate in the liver and cause cancer.
Aflatoxins are the most common and dangerous types of mycotoxins. Aflatoxins are found in nuts (hazelnuts, peanuts, pistachios, etc.), dried fruits (dried figs, dried apricots, raisins, etc.), grains, especially corn and sesame (wheat, lentils, etc.), milk and dairy products (milk powder, cheese, yoghurt, etc.), powdered red pepper and animal feed.
In our laboratory, Aflatoxins are analyzed using state-of-the-art HPLC devices, in accordance with the procedures, in a careful, clean, meticulous laboratory environment with sufficient tools and equipment, by personnel with technical, practical knowledge and equipment, using international analysis methods, and the results are given on the same day.
