Nizip Commodity Exchange participated in the "No to terrorism, yes to brotherhood" rally held in Ankara under the leadership of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) as well as 14 non-governmental organizations. Members of the Board of Directors and Assembly representing Nizip Commodity Exchange attended the rally.
The No to Terrorism, Yes to Brotherhood March, which started in Ankara Sihhiye Square, ended in front of the First Parliament in Ulus. The only common denominator at the meeting was the Turkish flag. TOBB President M. Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who voiced the joint statement from the balcony of the First Assembly at the end of the event, said:
The "No to Terrorism, Yes to Brotherhood Meeting", supported by 261 non-governmental organizations, including TOBB, was held with a very large participation. TOBB President M. Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu gave a message of unity and solidarity against terrorism in the joint statement he made at the end of the march and said, "This homeland, this country, this flag belongs to all of us. Together, we are Turkey."
“First of all, we would like to thank our professional organizations, unions, non-governmental organizations who organized this meaningful organization today, and all our citizens who came to Ankara from all over Türkiye and did not leave us alone.
The people who came here today protected the unity and integrity of our country, our nation, our state.
Together, they demonstrated a national stance against terrorism and showed the brotherhood of our nation.
We, who are here today, have different worldviews and different thoughts.
But we have things in common.
We are all children of this country, we are all lovers of this country.
We cannot remain silent when our homeland, our unity, our peace, our present and our future are at stake.
We cannot remain silent against those who try to turn us against each other, neighbor against neighbor, brother against brother.
While we all experience the scourge of terrorism together, while polarization in society increases day by day, we cannot remain silent in the face of the eclipse of reason and conscience.
That's why a huge crowd from all walks of life, from all walks of life, is here today.
We came here with our crescent and star flag, which is the symbol of our unity and independence.
We came here to protect the brotherhood of our nation.
We came here to foil the dirty game being played on our country.
We came here to extinguish the fire of discord that is trying to separate us.
We came here to show that we are united against those who threaten our peace.
We came here to strengthen social peace and revive broken hopes.
We focused on our partnerships and our hopeful future, not our differences.
We condemned terrorism and defended our brotherhood. We said NO TO TERROR, YES TO BROTHERHOOD.
And now we are in the Parliament where the foundations of the Republic of Türkiye were laid.
The conclusion of our walk here contains an extremely important message.
We are in the Constituent Assembly, which is the first example of this nation's will to live together.
Our dear nation,
Today is the day to protect our democracy, unity and each other.
Together, we demonstrated our common sense today.
Today, we all listened to the voice of our conscience.
We came together with the awareness of being citizens of this country. From now on, we will continue this determined cooperation.
We will be the voice of people whose hearts beat with brotherhood and peace, not those who fill their hearts with anger.
In order to react to terrorism, we must avoid any actions and statements that will offend our citizens and harm our brotherhood.
This nation is against terrorism.
This nation protects its brotherhood.
It wants to walk determinedly towards the future in unity and solidarity.
We are all children of this country, we are each other's brothers.
This homeland, this country, this flag belongs to all of us.
We are Turkey all together.
And we say once again: No to Terrorism, Yes to Brotherhood.”
