18 March Martyrs' Commemoration and Çanakkale Victory Message from NTB Presidents

Nizip Commodity Exchange (NTB) Chairman İbrahim Sarı and Parliament Speaker Ahmet Polat celebrated the 111th anniversary of the March 18 Çanakkale Victory.

NTB Presidents continued their words by saying that the 18 March Çanakkale Victory was not only a rare heroic epic, but also the greatest struggle for existence of the Turkish nation on the way to the War of Independence and the establishment of the Republic;

"This victory, which demonstrates the most concrete examples of the determination to live a free and independent life, is a turning point that we will remember with respect and gratitude forever. Our dear nation has always faced all kinds of threats to its existence with unity and solidarity, and has been able to protect its homeland at the expense of its life. The lands we live on are the gifts of all our heroes, known and unknown, who rose to the level of martyrdom and veteran status with their love of homeland, flag and nation. It is our only asset that we will protect forever. Our martyrs, who sacrificed their lives to protect and defend the homeland even under the most difficult conditions, will live in the heart of our nation forever as the guarantee of the existence of our state and our unity. Our nation has always felt the sense of gratitude to its martyrs and veterans, and has never forgotten these lands with the awareness that it owes them, and with this awareness, we have the trust of our martyrs. "We will continue to work to carry our country to the future and modern civilization. With these feelings and thoughts, on the 18th March Martyrs' Day and the 111th anniversary of the Çanakkale Naval Victory, we commemorate all our heroes who passed away, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms, and offer our gratitude to our veterans." They included their statements.
