Nizip Commodity Exchange Chairman of the Board of Directors, İbrahim Sarı, published a message congratulating the 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. President Sarı said, "We are celebrating the 97th anniversary of May 19, when the foundations of Independent Türkiye were laid," and continued his message with the following expressions:
“19 Mayıs 1919; Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün önderliğinde milli mücadelenin baslatildigi, bir milletin uyanisinin ve millet iradesine dayanan tam bağımsız bir devletin kurulmasinin ilk adiminin atildigi gündür.19 Mayıs 1919’da atilan o ilk adım, Ulusumuzun, kendi vataninda, özgür ve bağımsız olarak onuruyla yasama kararliliginin tüm Dünya’ya haykirildigi gündür. Türkiye’yi, laik ve demokratik yapisiyla her alanda çağdaş bir ülke olarak gelecek kusaklara birakmak hepimizin en önemli sorumlulugu olmalidir. Ulu Önder Atatürk’ün bu günü ülkemizin ve insanlığın umudu ve yarinlarin güvencesi olan gençlere emanet etmesi, gençlere inancinin, sevgisinin ve güveninin bir göstergesidir. Gençlerin de bu güvene layik olacagindan hiç süphemiz yoktur.
Nations that value young people, educate them in the best possible way, and prepare them for the future as individuals with personality and dedication can look to the future with confidence. Turkish Youth, as it has done so far, will protect the Republic, the legacy of its ancestors, and will fulfill its duty to exceed the level of modern civilization, which is the target set by it. For this reason, I commemorate all our martyrs and veterans, especially the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms, who gifted the 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day to our youth, who are the guarantee of our future, with mercy and gratitude, and I sincerely congratulate all our people on the holiday."
